About
Hi, I’m Chloe Mouton, a counseling intern with a deep interest in understanding people and the unique stories that shape who they are. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of North Florida and am currently pursuing my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Grace College.
Having grown up in France and moved to the United States at 15, I have had the opportunity to experience different cultures, perspectives, and ways of understanding the world. These experiences have contributed to my belief that every person has a unique story and deserves to feel heard, understood, and accepted for who they are.
My counseling approach is primarily person-centered. I believe people are more than a diagnosis or a set of symptoms and that, with the right support and a safe, accepting environment, individuals have the capacity for growth, healing, and self-discovery. My goal is to meet clients where they are, listen without judgment, and create a space where they can explore their experiences at their own pace.
Outside of counseling, I have spent much of my life working in the equine industry. Through that experience, I have supported many individuals navigating performance anxiety, confidence struggles, and the pressures that can come with competitive sports. This has further strengthened my interest in helping people understand their relationship with anxiety, self-confidence, and personal expectations.
I am passionate about building genuine connections with clients and walking alongside them as they work toward greater self-understanding, growth, and well-being.
