Morgan Brown

Graduate Intern

I'm interested in helping people to see their experiences from a new perspective to uncover new possibilities.

About

Hello! My name is Morgan Brown, and I am a graduate student at the University of Florida pursuing a specialist's degree and a master's in mental health counseling. I received my B.A in philosophy from Clemson University.

In my years I’ve gotten experience in crisis intervention, and have explored vast literature on mental health, mindfulness, and psychology. I’ve always been passionate about listening to others and learning from people's experiences. I found that therapy is an incredible tool to increase one's well-being by helping them to understand the impact of their experiences and connect with their mind and body. I recognize the significance and opportunity for growth in holding space for others.

Life is unpredictable and comes with endless trials and tribulations.  I want to help my clients develop working strategies to cope with these stressors, manage them, and overcome them. I strive to provide a safe and judgment-free environment for clients to openly express themselves and grow fully. With time, compassion, and practice, clients can leave therapy equipped with knowledge and resources to attain and maintain a better life for themselves.

I am interested in working with individuals looking for support and stability in their lives; I'm interested in helping people see their experiences from a new perspective to uncover new possibilities. I want to collaborate with clients to help them achieve goals in their ideal life.

Thank you for considering us at Arena Counseling and Wellness Center and taking the first step towards a better life! I hope to see you soon. Be well
